We have launched our new affordable lunch time menu with the help of Sheffield’s Lord Mayor.
This week we have unveiled a first for Sheffield city centre’s independent lunch trade – fine dining.
Silversmith’s new owner, Michael Standerline, believes the city now offers greater business potential than either Leeds or Manchester and an independent business should lead the way in offering a higher quality, dinnertime menu.
The Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Councillor Denise Fox , officially launched our new “affordable fine dining menu” on Monday 24th April and the doors are now officially open to the public.
Tina Gage – who made her name at the Devonshire Arms in Dore – is the new restaurant manager.
Sheffield-born Michael Standerline said: “There is an incredible buzz around Sheffield city centre at the moment thanks to multi-million pounds regeneration projects like the regeneration of The Moor and work starting on the New Retail Quarter. I’ve worked in cities right across the country and I’m confident the demand now exists for a higher quality of independent lunchtime dining in my hometown – Sheffield.”
We look forward to welcoming you at Silversmiths very soon!
